Maple Snickerdoodles

This recipe is made with no processed sugar. Just maple syrup. So tasty!

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened

  • 1 cup maple syrup

  • 1 egg

  • maple sugar/cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and the syrup. Beat in the egg. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until mixed.

In a small bowl, mix a small amount of maple sugar and cinnamon for topping.

Place cookies 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle maple sugar/cinnamon topping on each cookie.

Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
