Mini Cinnamon Rolls with Maple Icing

These can be made in a mini muffin pan, or a regular muffin pan. They don't last long in my house!

  • 1 tube crescent rolls, or crescent dough

  • cinnamon

  • brown sugar and/or maple sugar

  • butter

If using crescent rolls, lay the dough out flat and pinch seams together. If using crescent dough, roll out to 1/4 inch thick.

Brush on 1 Tablespoon of melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar and/or maple sugar. Roll from the longer side into a long log and cut into even slices. Place into non-stick sprayed large or small muffin pan.

Follow baking instructions on the crescent roll package. Bake for 5-8 minutes or until golden brown.

Maple icing:

This is best with maple cream as the topping, but you can make your own as well.

  • 3/4 cup confectioners sugar

  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup

  • 1 Tablespoon milk

Stir frosting ingredients together until smooth. Spread over cinnamon rolls.
